The 1.2-acre park in downtown San Antonio offers a much-needed green open space in a city experiencing rapid growth. Set within a robust frame of mature Live Oaks, a curved berm partially encloses a central lawn and helps to shield it from adjacent traffic. A vine-covered pergola lines the lawn and directs visitors to the BBQ joint within the park. A limestone-edged promenade along Houston Street extends the neighboring promenade at Frost Tower from across the street. Park programming and events include screenings for movies, fitness classes, recreational sports and company meetings.
